Are you disappointed with Bandmaster? Looking for another simple music/rhythm video game for you computer? Now try Rhythm Zone. I have tried playing this game for a while and believe me, you’ll get addicted to it in your first tries. It wasn’t that great but atleast it has a decent Online capabilities. It does have a great interface and graphics effects but for for this game, forget the crappy online community/tambayan that you’ve seen in Band Master. Honestly, that feature doesn’t have sense in anyway, you just can see your character to show of with the other players, apart from it, non anymore.
The biggest thing of Rhythm Zone is the ability to load your own songs, yes, your own songs, your own mp3 collection. You can also have a song library categorized by artists, albums or genres. That’s it but there’s more. The songs you load can actually be detected automatically by the online radio Last.FM. However, not all songs can be discovered, but atleast, almost all songs, so thanks for that feature. Upon playing the game, I did tried K-Pop songs, SNSD Yoona’s latest single “Innisfree Day” in particular. It was cool. I love how the visualization works. I can see some similarities of the game engine of Rhythm Zone and another music/rhythm game I’ve been playing last few months called “AudioSurf”. Still, there is some large differences between the two. Controls are just one thing. You just have to watch out for 4 color-coded speaker-looking thing-y that is similar to RockBand’s 4-piece-drum-notes. Beats are what the game is about, similar to the ever-popular iPhone game Tap Tap Revenge, so follow the beat, hit the notes and you’re all set.
The Online capability of the game is to upload your score for a certain song and compare it to the other players worldwide through the leaderboards. One more thing is that, it does not take a lot of your harddrive space and is playable with almost all computers that can play videos. Other than that, this game is simple. If you’re curious on how the game looks like, check out this videos and screenshots I uploaded so far.
BoA – Hurricane Venus
4MINUTE – I My Me Mine

Girls’ Generation – Oh!
T-ARA – I Go Crazy Because of You

…out of 10s:
Gameplay: 8 (The game is fun at first, but just like BandMaster, Tap Tap Revenge, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, AudioSurf, you’ll get bored after a month or two. Atleast in this game, you have lots of songs to play to!)
Sound: 9.5 (The game’s sound effects is somewhat almost perfect, however, I found a bug just before you start any song…)
Graphics: 10 (I’m giving it a perfect score because it has a very appealing textures and background animations that weren’t present in some games and in my opinion, can be very attractive to girls. Also, it does not require a lot of your videocard’s resources, even your old notebook’s Intel GMA 950 can run this game flawlessly)

Today, I have finished “2010′s Most Frightening Horror Video Game” Amnesia – The Dark Descent. I am satisfied. I have acquired the Good ending. I used a walkthrough by Adenosine from GameFAQs.
I found out that after finishing the game, you can access to some exclusive contents of the game such as Art, early concept designs, alpha stage gameplay videos and demonstrations. To access it, here’s what you do:
-Go to Program Files\Amnesia – The Dark Descent\redist folder. (In my case “Program Files(x86)” since I’m using a 64-bit version of Windows 7.)
-Find super_secret.rar. This file can be opened by programs such as WinRAR,
WinZIP, or 7Zip.
-Try to extract it. It will ask for a password.
-Copy and paste this password: lke271tyr299odn314
-The password is actually assembled. Each part of them, lke271, tyr299, and
odn314 are given at the end of the credits when you finish a game. You
get one of these depending on the type of ending you get. (I got odn314, since I have finished the game in Good ending.)
* If you downloaded your game from Steam and you don’t see the file called
super_secret.rar in the redist folder, they say you just have to restart
steam and Amnesia will be updated with the file.
-The super_secret.rar file contains concept art, designs, documents, and
videos involved in the game’s development.
Credits to Adenosine.
Anyway, here are the photos for the concept art, designs and the videos:
Here are the photos that you’ll find in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia – The Dark Descent\redist\super_secret\super_secret\art\creatures & characters\ folder:

and I also uploaded the Videos through my YouTube channel:

You want chills? You wanna get goosebumps? You want something that will make your head turn around and start screaming? Something that will make you nervous, tremble and pee on your boxer shorts? Something that will eventually make you say that “Resident Evil is not scary any more”, “the last Silent Hill sucked”, “Nintendo ruined Fatal Frame for making it an exclusive game for the Wii”? and lastly, something that could make you spend your Halloween earlier by yourself or with your friends? Okay, before anything else, here’s my top ten favorite horror video games for the last 18 years (that’s my age):
1. Silent Hill IV: The Room (2004)
2. Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (2003)
3. Resident Evil 2 (1998)
4. Alien Trilogy (1995)
5. Silent Hill 2 (2001)
6. Fatal Frame (2001)
7. Fatal Frame III: The Tormented (2005)
8. Silent Hill (1999)
9. Resident Evil 4 (2005)
10. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999)
Take note that this is my list.
The last three horror games I have played are Silent Hill: Homecoming, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 4. I played all three of them on the PC. Resident Evil 4 was originally released in the PlayStation 2. I have a PlayStation 2 and played RE4 before, but haven’t finished it until a ported version of it came in the PC. So far, the game gave a really big twist as it is more of an action game rather than a horror game. Anyway, there’s nothing important though, atleast it maintains the survival-horror genre. Same goes to Resident Evil 5. Well the game is good, played it on the PC first then when my PS3 came, bought the Bluray game and re-played it again. Silent Hill: Homecoming wasn’t that good. There are some complicated things in the game that, in my opinion, is better not include instead. Although it maintains the psychological horror genre, elements like the appearance of Pyramid Head while there is no significant reason why he appears are the very big downside, specially to long-time fans like me and my family. RE5 and Silent Hill: Homecoming is also a bit too short.
My three favorite horror games were Silent Hill 4: The Room, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly and Resident Evil 2. Honestly, I’m not sure what should be the first among the three of them. I just picked Silent Hill IV because it’s a game worthy to accomplished off even it’s already 5:00 in the morning. Those three games were all long, and have a very good story. I could say that Resident Evil 2 is an Epic Horror Videogame Classic, a game my family will always remember since it is the very first horror game we have played. Fatal Frame II introduced me to the world of Japanese horror genre, and I’m really really interested in such things. This is the type of game wherein you will probably be shocked everytime a ghost appears in front of you, a game with an unbelievable supernatural devices such as the Camera Obscura and the EVP.
Once again, my last played horror game was Resident Evil 5 on PC. The last time I played was just about 6 months ago, and honestly, I’ve been missing playing horror games a lot. All I have played since then were FPS games such as Modern Warfare 2, sand-box style games like Grand Theft Auto and Mafia II. Horror games are somewhat drugs to me. It’s the type of thing were me and my family bond together just to get rid and finish the game.
Finally, September 8, 2010. A new game titled Amnesia – The Dark Descent was released. It’s both a psychological and survival horror. My good impression of the game rose after learning that you don’t have to be good at shooting games when playing this game. I also heard that light is your only ally in this game, so you have to use tinderboxes or carry an oil-operated lantern with you, that makes darkness your primary enemy througout the game. One more thing, there is this ugly monster that were wandering around the location of the game, so what you do is to avoid yourself to be seen by it, or else, even if you run as fast as you can, you will still end up shouting and finally, sighing u.u I find this monster a bit look-a-like of Silent Hill’s “Lurker” and Resident Evil’s “Licker”. The game’s story revolves around things like scientists, mysterious underground cult, experiments, guinea pigs, things like that, somehow similar to almost all survival horror games such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and ObsCure. I think, in this generation, this game is the real thing! After all these popular horror games turning to be action games and departing to their usual and key elements, this game will be my MOST FRIGHTENING HORROR GAME FOR 2010.
Currently, I’m almost finished with the game. Hopefully tomorrow night, I can enjoy reminiscing the events of this game. For now, let’s enjoy the following stuffs such as screen shots and videos I have captured so far.
See how the dark the game is? I’m sure you’re backing out now LOL
Dead Bodies…Dead Bodies…Dead Bodies…
What are those red thing-y? ewwww!
-spoiler warning- Wondering what those monsters look like?
It’s a dead body, but why are you touching it?
You even put something on its head!
Full of puzzles, and full of flashbacks…
Don’t worry, he’s not a monster, even though he looks like one! His name is Agrippa, and you’ll be helping him in a certain part of the game. Agrippa is being mentioned many times in the game through flashbacks and notes, but I really don’t know who he is and what he is…I just don’t care XD Anyway, he will be the most talkative guy in the history of horror games once you encounter him. Check my videos out:
Gameplay and exploration:
Interview with Agrippa:
…out of 10:
Gameplay: 10 – Love the gameplay, it’s new and simple. No need for FPS skill and strategy is what you need.
Sound: 7 – Though music and sound effects are scary enough, I find them very repetitive during the course of the game.
Graphics: 9 – Although It wasn’t as good and realistic as the other games, I could say that the graphics is enough to scare me. No need for improvements coz’ it really suits well.
Story: 5 – I really don’t understand the story, maybe that it’s very fictional. I would recommend to the writers to make it simpler.
Satisfaction: 10 – For a 1 gigabyte installer file, you’ll get this awesome game that could last for 3 days if you play it 6 hours in each day.
Scare-factor: 10 – It’s been a while when I last screamed just for a horror game, and surprisingly, the game did very well to make me scream
Overall: 8.5 – Well done!

Oops! If you thought that this is about the genius kiddo of cartoons you’ve watched in Nickelodeon, you’re wrong. There’s no genius here, except the guys of 2K Czech for making Mafia II my best game recently. Jimmy’s Vendetta DLC was fun. I have finished it in 2 weeks (sorry to say, I’m not always playing video games). So my thoughts about the game, you’re askin’? As I’ve said, it was fun, more serious and aggressive. Sadly, the game lacks story, or should I say it lacks cut-scenes. Story, there is. However, the game’s focus is on the mission itself. The DLC is about Jimmy, who successfully escaped from prison and will take revenge to those fellas that made him a pig. This means that you will be chasing all of those guys, beat them all up make Jimmy enjoy his life. You’ll be killing these guys area by area, as seen on the map, and aside from that, to earn money you will have to steal rare cars out there and sell them up. I have acquired $30000+ bucks and believe me, you don’t need that kind of money. You just have to watch out for your health and your ammos. Grenades are useful in some situations. But you don’t have a choice. These “car-stealing” mini missions are required to beat so you can move to the next “real” missions and make a progress to your gang chases. Here are some photos I have captured upon finishing the game.
Jimmy: You see the way I eat?
Jimmy: It’s more like a vacation…
Jimmy: no thanks, I’m full…
Jimmy: want me to jump? Sorry but in this game you can’t jump O.O
Jimmy: I told ‘ya I wasn’t the one who stole your Ray Ban glasses!
Completion for Stealing Car (when was stealing cars became an achievement???)
Jimmy: Alright, thanks for your Wedding invitation. I’ll definitely come. Prepare a lot of food and some… chicas’
Jimmy: So there’s that Big Boss. I’m gonna suck his stomach!
There ya’ go!
Finally, finished Jimmy’s Vendetta DLC. Next, we’re going to wait for a little while. The next DLC will be named Joe’s Adventures. I’m so looking forward to it. I hope Joe Barbaro wasn’t dead.

|> 동방신기 (TVXQ) – Love in the Ice
I was looking up to Sankaku Complex, yes, the site with many ecchi~s and hentai~s for Otaku girls and guys like me. There’s a post called Top 10 Types of Guy You’d Like to Date. And here is the list:
Well, I am sure I’m an Otaku guy. I love watching Anime, playing Anime-based video games, and joining my co-otakus for anime events. However, I tried clicking ‘Herviborous man’ coz’ I’m really confused of what it is.
So let’s see:
1. He’s an indoor type… -> Yes, I think. But there are times I would want to go shopping alone when I’m bored or the weather’s hot.
2. He likes spending time in his room… -> this is true, I mean, this is definitely me. All I do is experimenting on my computer or play games or whatever I can do in my room.
3. His voice is quiet… -> I could say my normal voice is really quite, and I’m not fond of shouting or yelling. But whining is my characteristic ^^
4. He arranges himself around his girlfriend… -> I don’t have a girlfriend. But I have girlfriends ^^ and I always make sure I look handsome to everyone
5. He is weak to alcohol… -> I’m sure everyone of you really knew this one. I don’t like alcohols, and I almost detest them. It’s just that, it’s not my type of thing or not the right flavor for me. Sorry to disappoint you ladies…
6. He doesn’t play rough sports… -> No, I like sports BUT, they’re not a thing that I should place in my career. I love skateboarding but I stopped since high school. I still play badminton, basketball and volleyball, but not too often.
7. He likes flimsy pantsu… -> I’m not so sure about this kekeke or lets just say, I’m Innocent, and you did not heard anything… ^_^
8. He’s a good listener… -> most of my friends says I am. Well, what’s wrong with being a good listener? ^_^
9. He likes games… -> HELL YEAH… I was born to Play ^^
10. He can’t decide what to eat at restaurants… -> I’m sure about this. I love to eat food and because of that, I lack the “I’m craving for ________ right now” line ^^
So I am sure I’m a Herviborous man… So how about you?
EDIT: I should also consider being a Iku-men, coz’ I love taking care to those kids younger than myself ^^

It’s almost 2 weeks since the release of psgroove’s USB modchip, or what we call the primary Jailbreak of the PlayStation 3 console system. Many gamers became excited and at the same time, many PlayStation fan boys started to get pissed. I wasn’t one of those who got excited, not also a fan boy, but I just don’t support the jailbreak. I enjoy every single features of the PS3, what it is on its release, and what it is right now. Sony is doing well with their business of the new PlayStation Move. They didn’t let our folks, the black hat hackers, mess up our PS3s. Just 2 days ago, they released a new firmware, version 3.42, just to permanently (hopefully) block the USB modchip. But my theory is that, as stated on some site I’ve seen a couple of days ago, the USB chip is able to update itself, so that means every time Sony releases a new firmware to terminate the exploit, the dev team of the exploit will do the same, that is, to bypass or hack the new firmware. Well, that is just my theory. I hope it will only be a theory and will never ever be in reality coz’ if that happens, then expect brutality from Sony, like mandatory PlayStation Plus for every user and you will definitely say goodbye to the free PlayStation Network.
On the other hand, while I’m looking for the DLC for Mafia II (cracked ones), I’ve seen this site where you can download BD-ripped jailbreak files for the PS3. I have seen GTA: Episodes from Liberty City (8.0GB), Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (6.01GB), Just Cause 2 (3.63GB) and even the EPIC Mafia II (6.53GB). That was quick and sad. Those Jailbreak files are all provided by this cracking team called DUPLEX. I hope Sony will make an action about this thing. Hey guys from Sony, please help us gamers, we have a situation here! ^_^ Think about the numbers… 3GB…6GB…8GB!!!
Do you detest the jailbreak?
Download the firmware 3.42 now!

Last night, I was able to illegally download all of my favorite K-Pop songs through this downloading site named, Jenpoo.com. It wasn’t the first time I’ve been there. It was a great site and I would really recommend it to you, coz’ there, you will be able to browse all your favorite K-Pop artists and download each of their EPs and LPs. All are organized, except today, just right now, I tried to go there but all I’ve seen in my new-ly updated Mozilla Firefox (3.6.9) with Dante’s Inferno – Limbo persona, is this:
I have the feeling, even in the past, that this site will shut down in the near future. Illegal downloading is still illegal. Authorities still do their things, however, they’re still slow. Let us not include what Sony did to those black hat hackers who hacked the PS3 and released this so-called USB modchip. They did an awesome job. With just a quick firmware update to 3.42, the jailbreak have gone to hell, and I hope it will never ever go back to us.
Rest in Peace Jenpoo. I know you guys who are working on that site will be back with a new name, new layout and better environment. I’m sure I will be able to find the links myself, with just the help of my favorite Google search ^^
