EVENT | Intel Digital Showdown

After attending the launching of Mr. Taxi/Run Devil Run Run and Hoot albums in Odyssey, on my way I spotted an Intel booth. I decided to check it out coz’ I’ve seen the music video of Girls’ Generation’s Visual Dreams playing straight from Intel’s HDTV. There, a woman in white Intel T-shirt spoke to me and asked me to register, and if I do, I’ll get a free Intel fan. And so I did it. The woman also asked me if I can give them a minute to participate in an activity called “Director’s Cut”. She told me that all I have to do is to become a director for a minute by asking the Mime what to do. And again, no doubt, I did it.

After that, they burned the video into a blank DVD, and later I watched it at home, and here you go:

The time I finished directing the Mime, had a picture with him and they gave another freebie, which is a tumbler. (Good for me coz’ I am so depressed that time not receiving the SNSD tumbler freebie from GG Revolution). Thanks to Intel Philippines!

By the way, the woman in an Intel T-shirt is cute. 🙂

EVENT | GG Revolution at SM Megamall

Despite the windy and depressive dark sky and atmosphere because of Falcon, and my busy schedule, I still had the opportunity to buy the album and take part with the launching of Mr.Taxi/Run Devil Run and Hoot albums in Odyssey in SM Megamall. It was really worth the hassle. Freebies here and freebies there, so I decided to go and buy both.

I came around 10AM, and there I saw a lot of filipino SONEs. Also, a lot of SNSD standees, to be raffled and given away free. I hope I can have those. 🙂

It’s too bad, they run out of SNSD tumblers. I will have to wait for my reservation, I just hope that the time they are giving them away, I have no work schedule. Oh well, atleast I got a free tumbler from Intel after participating with their even, also in SM Megamall. Anyway, here are the goodies:

DIARY | First week of work

Dear Diary,

Man, I got the job! Been working now for a week and I am so thankful I easily got familiarized with the work. I am now an Assistant Instructor 1 in my College Alma Mater, AMA Computer College Fairview, teaching mostly major subjects to college students. Thanks to my Instructors-now-Co-teachers, for making me feel comfortable at work. Sana magtuloy-tuloy na’to, sana madami akong maging kaibigan, madami akong matutunan at madami din akong maturuan ng mabuti.

I prefer this job over the Software Development industry because I believe a have a lot more things to learn and improve, at the same time, I am always interested in teaching, like my hobbies, just like what Confucious once said:

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. ~Confucius

NEWS | PlayStation Network “Welcome Back” is UP!

Hi all! I know how frustrated we were back when PSN went down, but the good thing is, it’s all coming back, one by one. First off, the PlayStation Network online service came back starting from the US, then the Europe and currently in Asia. This enables us play multiplayer games again. Later on, PlayStation Plus went back together with free goodies exclusively for PlayStation Plus users. Then yesterday, the free users extended their happiness with the Welcome Back program which started around 2AM, the time I was about to play Climax mode in Bayonetta and sleep. Good thing, the free games came in. However, Hongkong and Singapore-based PlayStation Network accounts are currently in the process of rebuilding the network. So, what I did is to use my US account and grabbed those free games. Take note that each region, US, EU or ASIA, do have differences in the free games.

The instruction in PlayStation Store is to “Get” the item “Welcome Back: Free PS3™ Game 1” and “Welcome Back: Free PS3™ Game 2” in the list so you can grab 2 out of the 5 free games for the PlayStation 3.

I decided to choose inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet. Thankfully, I haven’t bought these two games, or else I may not choose them but Dead Nation or WipeOut HD.

By the way, inFAMOUS 2 Demo is now available in PlayStation Store, so grab it now, it’s really an awesome game. I hope to get my hands on it. 🙂

BLOG | 50,000 Hits!!!

Goodevening to all, it’s me again and I have good news for my readers. I was actually busy settling things up related to the job I’m currently aiming, then I went back home. Checking out mistercomputer’s control panel while listening to Arch Enemy’s latest effort, Khaos Legions, I found out that I have now achieved the “Thousands of Gold” mark. I finally have 50,000 hits from the time I started this blog!

I twitted about it immediately coz’ I really feel happy. Thinking that I achieved the 40,000 mark back on February, just less than 4 months ago, I think this makes mistercomputer to the next level.

In that 4 months long of life, I have updated everyone with the PlayStation Network’s sudden shutdown, the firmware 3.61, and its current ongoing comeback, also 3 new addition to my customized PlayStation XMB themes (T-Ara, T-Ara – YaYaYa, SNSD Intel, Park Bom), as well as establishing my very own one-man independent subbing squad, MCsubs, subbing WGM Khuntoria couple EP38, the review for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, SNSD Yoona’s birthday and trending in twitter, and lastly, one of my newest hobby right now, watching then writing recaps for MBC Couple or Trouble.

That’s a lot of content, but I believe I still have a long way to go to be one great famous blogger. Although my time for blogging might be cut down because I have work now, I will still do my best. Thank you to all who appreciate my works and my words. Thank you, friends. 🙂

Greetings to TipidPC.com’s PlayStation 3 thread and SNSD (Girls’ Generation) thread. Goodevening!
